Sesriem is the canyon of Tschauchab river. There is a path down to the ground and you can walk along it on the ground and see the bizarre formations of stone built by water.

Sossusvlei is built by Tschauchab river, which run in direction to the atlantic ocean and at this place is stoped by some dunes. The water evaporate and ooze away.
